DAY 01
Arrive. Exhale. Listen.
Travel from Coca by motorized canoe along the Napo River toward the Añangu community. Settle into Yasuní Ecolodge, meet your hosts and begin exploring the world beyond the riverbank. The first sightings might be birds, monkeys or simply the remarkable scale of the forest.
DAY 02
Learn to see the forest.
Head out with local and naturalist guides to explore rainforest trails and search for birds, primates, insects and the small details most people walk straight past. Cultural encounters introduce the knowledge and traditions of the Añangu Kichwa community. Evening exploration may reveal the forest's nocturnal side.
DAY 03
One last morning. A different perspective.
Wake to the sounds of the Amazon and enjoy the final river views before returning by boat to Coca. You may leave the forest, but the forest tends to follow you home.

DAY 01
Cross the river. Enter another world.
Arrive in Coca and travel along the Napo River to Yasuní Ecolodge. After a community welcome, venture toward the observation tower for a canopy-level view, with opportunities to watch birds and monkeys. Kayaking may be offered as an alternative activity.
DAY 02
Parrots, people and the forest after dark.
Travel to the parrot and parakeet clay licks, where birds may gather for mineral-rich clay. Visit the Kuri Muyu Interpretation Center, led by women of the Añangu community, to discover cultural traditions and local knowledge. Continue with rainforest exploration; a guided night walk may reveal frogs, insects and other nocturnal wildlife.
DAY 03
Quiet water. Bigger discoveries.
Explore the Añangu blackwater waterways in paddle-powered canoes, listening for wildlife and watching the trees for movement. Depending on the operating itinerary, you may revisit the tower or enjoy a traditional cultural river experience.
DAY 04
Take the forest home with you.
Enjoy a final Amazon morning and travel by boat back to Coca. The river looks familiar now. You're the one who's changed.

DAY 01
From the Andes to the Amazon.
Arrive in Coca and follow the Napo River to the lodge. Receive a warm welcome from the Añangu community, then head toward the canopy observation tower or choose an available river activity. The first evening belongs to the sounds of the forest.
DAY 02
Birds at the clay licks. Stories in the community.
Watch for parrots and parakeets at mineral-rich clay licks, then meet community members at Kuri Muyu to learn about Kichwa culture, crafts and knowledge. Walk rainforest trails in search of primates, birds and smaller creatures. After dark, the forest reveals a different cast.
DAY 03
Let the paddle do the talking.
Explore the Añangu River and blackwater creeks by canoe. With the engine off, every splash and rustle matters. Keep watch for monkeys, caimans and, with luck, giant otters. Later, enjoy more wildlife observation or a community-led cultural activity.
DAY 04
Go deeper. Notice more.
Explore the Samona rainforest trail, where towering trees and animal tracks offer clues to the life around you. Continue along blackwater habitat and enjoy another chance for river birdwatching. If conditions allow, swimming may be arranged with your guide.
DAY 05
The river takes you back.
One last breakfast, one last look at the treeline, then the boat journey to Coca. Five days is still not enough to know Yasuní. But it's enough to begin caring about it differently.
