THE EXPERIENCE

Quito has plenty to show you.
The trick is knowing where to look.

Start at the CarpeDM office beside one of Quito’s great landmarks, the Basílica del Voto Nacional, and head into the historic centre on foot.

This is not a race through a checklist. It is a walk through plazas, façades, public spaces and stories that can disappear when you are only looking at the map.

The tour is free to join, but space and guide availability are not automatic. Reserve ahead on WhatsApp so we can confirm your place before you arrive.

WHY WALK?

Because cities look different
at human speed.

OLD QUITOStreets before statistics

You can photograph a plaza in five seconds. Understanding why it matters takes a little longer. That is what the walk is for.

SLOW FLOW TRAVEL

You can cross a city
without ever really meeting it.

Quito rewards attention.

A carved doorway. Gold catching the light. A street climbing toward the mountains. A guide connecting something you almost walked past to a story several centuries old.

The distance is not the point. Attention is. Sometimes travelling deeper starts with walking slower.

READY?

Meet Quito at street level.
One plaza at a time.
